Upcoming Dates and
As soon as we milled our first sack of grain in June 2005,
we started baking our own bread, cakes and scones.
Our little Tearoom began operating by showcasing the flour in its baked goods
and continues to do so using a variety of our artisan flours in the cakes, teacakes,
scones, pastries and bread rolls.
With our Classic Bread Baking tutors retiring from teaching, Paul and Fari have given
in to numerous requests by our customers to run classes teaching how to make those
delicious bread rolls and cakes found in the Tearoom.
The Windmill and Tearoom provide a delightful relaxed setting for an educational day of
baking and these hands-on classes will have a small number of participants in each
class to maximise learning. They are ideal for those new to baking and want to
try baking bread or cakes with our artisan flour.
All of our classes:
- Start at 9.15am
- Finish around 3.00pm
Each class includes:
- Morning coffee and cookies
- All Ingredients for the day
- Light Lunch
- Guided Tour of the Windmill
- Recipes used on the day
- Bread/cake to take home
