Baking At Tuxford Windmill
The focus of our baking classes at Tuxford Windmill has always been to help our community learn how to bake at home.
This year, we’re welcoming Emmanuel Hadjiandreou the renowned baker, author, and teacher who has been baking for over 35 years,
working with famous names such as Gordon Ramsay, and at prestigious establishments such as the Savoy, Flour Power City Bakery,
Daylesford Organics, and Judges Bakery in Hastings where he now lives.
He has been teaching baking for over 15 years and he is well known and highly respected in the UK and internationally.
Emmanuel is very familiar with heritage and population grains and flours and will be joining us to teach an introduction to
sourdough baking as well as the traditional enriched doughs for making treats such as cinnamon buns, teacakes, and brioche.
It is quite magical to watch him handling and shaping the dough, whilst listening to him imparting his wealth of knowledge
and expertise in the science and techniques of baking.
We are very excited to have him here and are very much looking forward to welcoming him at the Windmill.
We are also continuing with the Introduction to Bread Baking class, and our Basic Cake baking classes.
